1. Copilot Pages: Multiplayer AI Collaboration
One of the standout features of Wave 2 is Copilot Pages, a persistent digital canvas built for real-time, collaborative work between humans and AI. Pages allows users to turn AI-generated content into reusable and editable business assets. It’s designed to integrate data from various sources, such as files and web resources, into a single, cohesive page. The tool enables team members to work together in real-time, editing and iterating on content with the help of Copilot.
This feature marks the beginning of a new design system for knowledge work, where collaboration isn’t limited to human participants, but also includes AI, making work more dynamic and efficient. Copilot Pages is now available to Microsoft 365 Copilot users, with broader availability coming later in September 2024.
2. Python Integration in Excel: Unlocking Advanced Data Analysis
Excel remains a cornerstone for business data, and with Wave 2, it becomes even more powerful. Copilot in Excel now supports Python, one of the most widely used programming languages for data science.
